It's been forever......

Bet you can never guess what my guys are doing this week!!!!!
Mitchell
Keelan
Ethan
I have been going every day for Mitchell and Ethan's class as they happen to be in the same group. Of course I wasn't lucky enough to have Keelan there at the same time so I have only stayed once for his lesson and will stay again tomorrow. Staying for both though has me at the pool from 11 am til 2.45 pm and then it is back up to the school for pick-up. It makes it a long day. I actually got badly sunburnt on my face on Tuesday after not wearing sunscreen because I had given it all to the kids and forgot to get some off of them when I got there. I hadn't taken a hat either as I only own one and because it was overcast when I left home I didn't think to take it. Serves me right! I ended up wearing plenty of make-up yesterday to cover the red. Even my eyelids were burnt.......
I'm sharing all the work that I have been up to in the past fortnight as I had finally made time to do the memory gift layouts for Sarah Gladman and posted them off on Monday.
I found a few old Artist choice kits from TLC so chose to use up some of those and made up some extra layouts with the scraps. There was also three that I threw in which were old classes that I did when living in Canberra and never found photos to go with them. I have used a couple of sketches from Julie Bonner at 52weeks.com as they happened to fall into my inbox on the day I was doing layouts. I actually found I enjoyed doing these as I didn't need to procrastinate about the embellishments I was going to use. I also left a number of them without titles for the new owners to choose their own.

I was pleasantly surprised by the number of layouts I got out of just using scraps. I hope you like some of them.
This week my first card went up on show for My Sketch World. Here it is!

The sketch was a little different to what I would normally use and so I kept it simple for a funky, bright card. If you click on the blinkie you can go to My sketch world to see the sketch and see what the rest of the team did with it.

On Sunday was the lovely Dawn Stan, Lead Ambassador for Fiskars, 40th birthday. The demonstrators and Ambassadors around Australia and New Zealand we asked to join in the fun and make a card for Dawn to be placed on the Fiskars blog on the day. Above is my example using the beautiful Heidi Grace, Urban Acres papers and sticker. I have used the victorian circle border punch and some Kaisercraft bling with Prima flowers to finish it off. I hope Dawn like my efforts.
Keep your eye out next Thursday at Heaven-Sent for the challenges for the CyberCrop from myself and Suse. The theme is "Scrap That" and it will give you a chance to use some scraps and finish some UFO's, maybe......!!!!!!!! More about it next week - I hope.

Don't forget those monthly challenges at Heaven-Sent also. Scrapping the man in your life, a sketch challenge and a layout with rectangular papers but non-rectangular/square photos. Put your thinking caps on for those.
Have Fun!

Thanks for sharing these, I tend to overpower my scrapbook pages as I like to fill in the large spaces.
But looking at your wonderful work I think I'll have to let the paper "breath" a bit more in the future.
