I've had a full on week of creativity and stunned myself.

I've had a blast over the weekend joining in a couple of Cyber crops, one at Scrap of Difference and the other at My Sketch World . Of course, I'm not superwoman..... although I have been known to try and be.... so, I have combined a number of the challenges from both sites to "kill two birds", IYKWIM. Sketch challenge at Scrap of Difference with a sketch from the lovely Lucy Chesna at My Sketch World. I combined it with the Summer recipe challenge at MSW: S = six of something, U = die-cut, M = Matted photo, M = Mixed alpha title, E = eyelets (at least two) and R = Rounded corner (at least one) This layout would have to be my most fave of the week. The word challenge - Imagine, at Scrap of Difference combined with the fussy cutting challenge at MSW which involved fussy cutting and an embellishment cluster. Can you believe this is done almost entirely of freebie stuff? The papers and flowers and leaves etc. were freebie papers from the UK version of Scrapbook Magazi

Some more shares as promised.......

Well, as I missed a couple of my shares last time I better start with those. First is the third of the cards from my DT work for Scrap of Difference which I accidentally deleted last time I was posting . Followed closely by the My Sketch World DT example for May. I really liked this one. This uses some Breezy Design Caroline Collection Runway papers with a Kaisercraft butterfly stamp and rhinestones, a cricut cut from the Home Accents cartridge which has be trimmed to create the butterfly trail and the stylised flowers cuttlebug embossing folder. My new layout for today is one I completed at my crop night last night and finished after the ladies left at 2.15 am. It is for the colour challenge at Heaven-Sent this month with a photo of the lovely Rossy from Costa Rica. Rossy stayed with us for a few months back in 1997 I think it was, toward the end of her years exchange here with AFS. I managed to catch up with her via email in the past week and she sent me some beautiful photos of her

Lots to catch up on.....

Well, way back in February, I mentioned that I was doing some card examples for Becky Fleck at Pagemaps. So here are the two cards I made at that time: A "Merci" card using a Cricut cut from the Beyond Birthdays Cartridge and a Baby card for one of my lovely ladies who attends my Saturday night crop using a cut from the Storybook cartridges. This has to be my most used cartridge - not so much for the font, but for all the accent features and other items. Then last month I had an email from Becky asking if I would do a layout sample for the June maps - my first layout ever for Pagemaps using the very nice Lime Rickey Basic Grey papers. Loving these! Very bold and colourful, just the way I like papers for boy layouts. This is a layout about Keelan's homework project of having to blow an egg and boil an egg one night prior to Easter. I had never blown an egg before - Yes, really! I mean it.... not the kind of thing I would choose to do. But I knew the concept and he did the
