Heaven-sent Cybercrop

It's been a quiet day on the home front. Took kids out to a come and try morning at tennis but it was so cold we only stayed a short time. Bruce and Keelan headed off to the Crows match and thankfully came home happy after a 9 point win. I took Ethan and Mitchell out to Video Ezy to hire a couple of movies and they chose Spiderwick chronicles and Varient, neither of which I had seen. These kept them entertained whilst I managed to get some scrapping done for the "Flower power" Cybercrop over at Heaven-Sent. http://heaven-sent.com.au/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=26&func=showcat&catid=57 Here are my examples for the first two challenges:

Today I have finished off another couple of layouts and started working on my Circle Shape-Upz kit from Breezy Design. That one might take me a couple of weeks to complete as I have to decide on some photos that will work. I have completed a Step-By-Step Challenge at Scrapwitch today - my first one ever. This one is both my sketch challenge at Scrapwitch, combined with a layout containing stitching for Karen's competition at Heaven-Sent. I've taken up Josie's challenge at Scrapwitch to scrap 20 layouts using only products from your stash and so far it has been very easy. I've been hunting up an article I read in a magazine a while ago about giving new life to your old papers so might have to put these ideas into practice at my Cybercrop at Heaven-Sent on the weeknd. Hope you will join me there.

Well Ingeborg and I had a great time at the Fair on the weekend and it was nice not to have to do all the work like I usually did when running a TLC stall. Today I have had the chance to catch up on a little scrapbooking and got almost three layouts completed. The last is waiting for my final touches. This is my Class in a Box #2 by Penny Hackney which I received as a gift for my bithday. Wasn't I so lucky? The papers are just lovely and it was the first time I have used seed beads as a flower centre so that was fun. The second is a layout made from the scraps of the first Class in a Box that Penny did. I printed too many photos for the first double layout and didn't follow the instructions well so had plenty left over to make a third page and just had to locate a piece of matching cardstock.

Slow beginnings

After much deliberation and people asking if I had a blog, I figured I better get one going. Don't expect too much too soon though..... LOL! Scrapbooking has been slow this week whilst I prepare some cards for the Heaven-Sent scrap day in October. There are still a few spots available for the day if you would like to scrap a page and make some Christmas cards. Of if you are in a do your own thing mode then that's okay too, just come along for the day and take your kit home with you to pay with later. You will find the info here: http://heaven-sent.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=47&Itemid=68 The Stamping and Scrapbooking fair is on again this weekend at the Morphettville racecourse here in SA. Sunday the 24th from 9 am -4 pm and cost of entry it $5. There will be plenty of stalls to excite the eyes and you will find me helping Ingeborg at the Heaven-Sent stall if you wish to drop by and say g'day. There is my regular Friday night crop at my plac
